12 Meridians of the Body

12 Meridians of the Body

12 Meridians of the Body

12 Meridians of the Body

Kyusho Jitsu study is based on the 12 Meridians of the Body. Without the understanding of these meridian, everything about them success is very difficult. The meridians have very distinct characteristics, plus along these lines is where the pressure points are found.

And there is a lot to know!

As stated above there are 12 meridians of the body, with each one representing an organ. Plus each meridian is mirrored on each side of the body. So in a sense, you are dealing with 24. They each have very distinct characteristics that must be committed to memory. Also being able to trace them on the body is essential! Why? Because they are like a map, and without knowing the routes you will get lost!

Element - Points - Polarity

Aside from tracing the very basics of meridian understanding this short list of items.

  1. Elements - Each meridian is represented by one of the five elements
  2. Polarity - Each meridian has a polarity, either Yin or Yang, negative or positive.
  3. Number of points. Each meridian has a distinct number of pressure points on it.

Yes you must remember and memorize all this! Plus as you progress with this knowledge other things come into effect like "striking action," "time of day," and "stance" to name a few! I do have some great books that deal with all of this!

But sometimes you just need a solid and fast reference! And so I decided to create that reference. Hence the Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu! Most of all right now you can have a detailed look at this project for free! We are in the beta test stage, but very soon I won't be accepting any more testers!

Sittin’ on a Kyusho Fence

Sittin' on a Kyusho Fence

Sittin' on a Kyusho Fence

Sittin' on a Kyusho Fence

Are you Sittin' on a Kyusho Fence? I was once one of the great fence sitters of all time. It cost me dearly. Here is what happened.

Back in the mid 90's I was running a very popular computer Bulletin Board System called Digital WasteLand. I ran 3 call-in numbers and had people from all over the world calling 24/7 to access the content and files. At this point in time internet access came from Universities and Colleges. There were a few dial-up services in the bigger cities like Toronto. But nothing close. I used the University of Windsor and IBM in Toronto to get on to the net. So I decided I was going to be the one to bring dial-up internet to Windsor.

So I did the research of what I needed and then sat and thought about it for WAY TOO LONG. Then I was beaten to the punch by someone else, another BBS sysop who also saw the opportunity. I was also foolish because I "talked" about doing it and did not act! Therefore I lost out. MNSI is still in business today as a major internet player for business.

Sittin' on a Kyusho Fence

I see this a lot in the martial arts industry. People "thinking" about opening Dojo's but not doing it. Thinking about becoming a Kyusho Jitsu Instructor and not doing it. Are you a fence sitter? Maybe I can push you off the fence?

Over the last year in building the Kyusho Jitsu World Alliance I have torn down every barrier to entry I have found. But I cannot do it forever! I have discounted Instructor Certification Course to the bare minimum to give people opportunity. But as the organization grows, and it is growing FAST the deals will come to an end. At that point the prices will be what they should be, what I paid to become a Certified Kyusho Jitsu Instructor.

Kyusho Jitsu Level One Certification

Right now you can become a Level One Kyusho Jitsu Certified Instructor, which includes your own ranking as a Black Belt in Kyusho for ONLY $97. This cost me around $2000 personally. The first step for me was getting the Black Belt, then doing the instructor courses which were separate.

Plus I am even willing to break it up into 3 payment! Follow the link below and learn more TODAY. Tomorrow comes FAST and opportunities disappear.

Teaching Kyusho Jitsu is our Mandate

Teaching Kyusho Jitsu is our Mandate

Teaching Kyusho Jitsu

Teaching Kyusho Jitsu

In the KJWA teaching Kyusho Jitsu is what we are all about. This is our mandate. When I first began the journey studying the science of pressure point self defense I was very surprised at how little "good" information there was online. There were books you could order. But I found that they often lacked real information on the topic. I can recall reading about Alarm Points in one, but is did not say anything about using them.

Even seminars are often time done with the sole purpose of booking more seminars. Very little real in depth information was given out. Now obviously there are exceptions to this! But this has been my experience.

Teaching with Systems

I have spend years designing systems of teaching to get the information out to those who wished to learn. I think I have done a decent job of it! But there was still one thing left, one part missing.  Then while I was in Spain last June a man suggested to me that my most recent eBook, The 15 Principles Plus One of Kyusho Jitsu was awesome but needed a glossary of terms, I realized "encyclopedia."

Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu

Encyclopedia Page Sample

Encyclopedia Page Sample

At this point the idea of the Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu was realized. I wanted to create the ultimate reference for the student of Kyusho Jitsu. One that could be accessed from a PC or mobile device. I also wanted to create something that could be easily expanded upon, and continue to grow.

Today we are in the testing phase for the online version. Once it is ready to go the various mobile platforms will be made.  You can become part of this project and help to test the online systems. Testing is easy! Go to the website linked below, create and account and visit every few days to look at updates on the information. Mostly you will be looking for dead links, bad spelling and other errors.

Thank you for your support! The Kyusho Jitsu World Alliance is all about our students and instructors! Without you we are nothing! If you have any questions please feel free to comment below! Also share this an other posts with your friends on social media!

Success Learning Kyusho Jitsu

Shares

Learning Kyusho Jitsu

Learning Kyusho Jitsu

Learning Kyusho Jitsu

Being successful in learning Kyusho Jitsu requires time and work. There are no short cuts and anyone who says there is, well they are lying! However there are better methods and practices to help you get there!

The first year or the "novice" study is the most challenging because there is so much to learn. And it MUST be memorized. My first year was a big challenge for me because I had been out of school for years. Plus I was not a good student in school. I was very average.

Novice Learning

Here is an example of ONE item that must be committed to memory in the novice year, that you do not really even use until advanced sessions.

24 Hour Cycle

  • 3:00 am to 5:00am Lung
  • 5:00 am to 7:00 am Large Intestine
  • 7:00 am to 9:00 am Stomach
  • 9:00 am to 11:00 am Spleen
  • 11:00 am to 1:00 pm Heart
  • 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Small Intestine

Now for the sake of time I only did half of the cycle. But this is one of those very important memory items! You should also memorize the military time too.

Here is another example:

Meridians

Lung Meridian - The lung meridian has 11 points, the element is metal and it is a YIN organ. The energy flow is leaving the body. The path is in the image below.

Lung Meridian

Lung Meridian

Now considering there are 12 meridians, reflected on each side of the body. Plus 2 vessels, this is a lot of information. Therefore a system, and way to reference becomes essential!

And the GOOD NEWS I have a possible solution for you! Follow the link below and read more on the best tool and reference available for learning kyusho Jitsu!

Cycle of Destruction

Cycle of Destruction

Cycle of Destruction

Cycle of Destruction

The Cycle of Destruction is a cornerstone principle in the science of pressure point self defense called Kyusho Jitsu. It comes from the basics of Chinese Medicine and is several thousand years old.

This system is part of the balance of the body and exists in a complete group known as Wu Xing. Therefore it is complete and always coupled with the Cycle of Creation, the cycle of certain high gravity planets, seasons and several other things.

For us in Kyusho Jitsu we focus on the destructive part in order to help to defend oneself in an attack.  For our purposes the cycle breaks down as follows.

  • Fire melts Metal
  • Metal chops Wood
  • Wood penetrates Earth
  • Earth dams Water
  • Water quenches Fire

Then the information is used within strikes to certain areas of the body for a predictable result.

Kyusho Jitsu References

Finding detailed information on the science of pressure points can be difficult! The information above is from an ongoing project for the martial artists and Kyusho Jitsu practitioners in particular. It is called the Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu.  The information in this project will be specific to Kyusho and its application, not to acupuncture or other medical applications.

Therefore if you would like to learn more about this ongoing and expanding project follow the link below! There will be nothing like it anywhere on the internet!

The Art of Self Defense

Art of Self Defense

Art of Self Defense

What is meant by the Art of Self Defense? This is a term that refers to martial arts training, learning and practicing an "art form" that can also be used in self defense. However today this has lost much of its meaning. Therefore becoming a big issue.

The best defense is not a good offense! That is a sport term, and does not apply to the street! There is an old saying "it is not what you do not know that is a problem, it is the things you think you know that are not true." These are wise words! In a real street attack you can NOT stand your ground and battle it out! That can very quickly get you killed. And I don't care WHO YOU THINK YOU ARE, it is just not true! Many times as the attacker encounters difficulty a knife comes out that you do not see, and it is FINISHED. The idea of battling it out it just your ego talking. Save that for a ring.

Be Safe FIRST!

The most important thing in any attack is first to identify the problem, then to most to a save position so you can do one of two things. These are:

  1. Flee if possible. There is NO glory in a battle!
  2. Attack if required and END the conflict IMMEDIATELY!

Those are your only 2 logical options. Beyond this it is a police matter.  As for the first option there is an ancient method of movement in the art of self defense. It is a natural movement study and VERY effective! I know I have used it! I will link below more information on this for you.

The next step is to end the conflict by attacking the neurological and obtaining an knockout. The guy, or girl won't revert to a knife, or use one if they are unconscious! And all of this information fits into your current art form without big changes! Just new options!

Here are 2 great options for you to look at!

Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu

Today I have an update for you on the Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu. As I said back last fall this is a HUGE project, one that will continue long after the official launch with the mobile apps comes! But today I have some news!

Encyclopedia of Kyusho Jitsu Beta Testing

We have begun to upload content to the database, and test out the website and the links.  This is only the initial process, and not what the final product will look like on the web or mobile. But this structure needs to be in place as this is the building block stage.

If you would like to check this out you are welcome to do so! As I have said this is the very early stages. Right now it is only web based. When we begin testing the app functions that will be restricted to those who have preordered the project.

There is not much up yet, as I spent most of the day setting up the website, but it will expand as the weekend and coming days go by.

Follow this link below and have a look!

Neurological Knockout Secrets

Neurological Knockout Secrets

Neurological Knockout Secrets

Are there Neurological Knockout Secrets? The answer is no, there is only information that you do not yet know! So lets talk about this a little today.

There are no Secrets

It is not what you know that matters, it is what you don't know! When you don't know something there is no shame in it. Not knowing presents great opportunities for improvement. But the "norm" today is to ridicule the things that we don't understand. This paradigm needs to change.  I have been involved in the science of pressure point self defense for 16 plus years now, and I am still learning!

Neurological Pressure Points Knockouts are just that. There is nothing mysterious about it. It is just biology. If you overload the nervous system the brain will shut down and reboot. There are many different ways to do this and this is what the study of Kyusho Jitsu is all about.

Does it work? Yes it does! But like i have said 100 times you have to do the work! It is not instant. But nothing really ever is! Below I am giving you a short video of a knockout at the pressure point ST-5 (Stomach 5).  This is very pure Kyusho as it is being done as part of an interpretation of an ITF Taekwondo Kata, Dan Gun.

How to Learn More

Does this peak your curiosity? There are 2 great ways in which you can learn more! The first is I offer a FREE Neurological Pressure Point Knockout Mini Course. This is a 3 day course via video. The second is a 10 Video Kyusho Knockout Mini Course, and this one is ONLY $7.97! You cannot go wrong with that price! Check one or both out from below!

Attack Using Yin & Yang

Attack Using Yin & Yang

Degeneration of Society

Yin & Yang

One of the 5 Novice Kyusho Jitsu Principles Attack Using Yin & Yang is very effective! However it does require some work to fully understand! One of the basic ideas behind this is to respond to an attack with the "opposite" of what the attacker is doing. But it is not really as simple as that!

Here is a excerpt from my book called the 15 Principles Plus One of Kyusho Jitsu.

Yin & Yang

"The Yin/Yang symbol is one of the oldest in the world, and one of the most misunderstood. People look at it, and then dissect it into opposites, which it is not, it is a “whole.” The name of the chapter is not really correct. It is not Yin and Yang, but Yin/Yang.

This principle is DEEP and one that can stand on its own. It represents completeness within incompleteness. As well as incompleteness within completeness. But it has directly relationships to every principle! So let’s begin with the principle and look at the body. You can divide the body up into various segments. The front of the body is YIN, and the back of the body is YANG. The top half is YIN, the bottom half is YANG etc. We have Yin organs and meridians, and Yang organs and meridians. But NONE are completely one or the other. Just as light leads to darkness,
darkness leads to light.

This principle also depends on correct body mechanics to be effective. As an example, in many martial art system which are consider to be “hard” styles the punch is king. However, this will not always yield the best results. A target like the head which is “hard” is best served with a soft weapon like a palm hand, while a soft target like the body, is best served with a harder weapon like the fist. Which makes conditioning of the hand totally unnecessary as you learn to use the correct tool, for the correct purpose."

So if you would like to learn more about this principle I have a something that can really help you! Right now for a limited time you can grab a copy of our Kyusho Jitsu Home Study Course for an amazing price! This is a FULL Kyusho Jitsu Certification Course, all downloadable content that sells for $797.00! But right now you can grab ir for ONLY $67!!

Yes that is right ONLY $67!

This is a $730 savings! Don't miss out! If you have any questions please feel free to comment below! Also consider sharing this and other posts on your social media account to help spread the teachings of pressure point self defense.
